- Hit six home runs, third-most on the team, and had a .566 slugging percentage, which would have ranked No. 2 on the team, and hit .226 with 12 hits, 13 RBIs, 30 total bases, 10 walks and a .354 on-base percentage
- Posted a career high five-game hit streak to open the season, from Feb. 17-24
- Had a hit in all three games at Western Kentucky from March 2-4, with one home run, four runs scored, three walks and a stolen base
- Named the Big 12 Player of the Week on Feb. 26, after he hit three home runs and had eight RBIs in WVU’s first game on Feb. 24, and added a fourth homer in the team’s second game of the day while hitting .375 with a 1.125 on-base percentage and 18 total bases in four games in Conway, South Carolina, from Feb. 23-25
- Hit three home runs, tied for second-most in a single game in team history, with eight RBIs, tied for fifth-most in the Mountaineer record books and two shy of the record, in WVU’s 10-8 win over Illinois on Feb. 24, to become the third WVU player to hit at least three home runs and drive in eight or more runs in a single game, as his first career grand slam in the seventh inning proved to be the game-winning hit
2017 (Freshman)
- Played in 25 games with five starts, three at third base, one at first base and one as the designated hitter
- Led the team with a .440 on-base percentage, recorded a .300 batting average (second-best on the team among players with fewer than 100 at-bats), with 12 hits in 40 at-bats, four RBIs, two doubles, two runs scored and 10 walks
- Recorded a four-game hit streak and a six-game on-base streak
- Scored two runs while walking twice in the NCAA Regional Final at No. 13 Wake Forest on June 4
- Had a hit and an RBI in WVU’s NCAA Tournament win against Maryland on June 4
- Had two hits, an RBI and a pair of walks on May 7, against Texas Tech
- Had a career-best three hits and two RBIs, the first of his career, in three at-bats off the bench on May 2, vs. Eastern Michigan
