- Made six appearances with six starts before sustaining a season-ending arm injury
- Posted a record of 3-3 with a 5.53 ERA, striking out 26 while allowing 17 earned runs on 30 hits in 27.2 innings pitched
- Struck out a career-best 10 batters in 6.0 innings while allowing one run on six hits and earning the victory on Feb. 27 at No. 18 Coastal Carolina

2016 (Sophomore)
- Named to the Big 12 All-Tournament Team
- Pitched in 20 games, making four starts and earning a record of 7-4, tying for the team lead with seven wins and earning a 3-0 record as a starter
- Was fourth on the team with 48.2 innings pitched and recorded a 4.44 ERA with 40 strikeouts while allowing 24 earned runs on 56 hits
- Earned the win against Oklahoma on May 28 at the Big 12 Championship, sending WVU to its first ever Big 12 Championship game, pitching 6.1 innings and allowing one unearned run on four hits with nine strikeouts
- Pitched 5.0 scoreless innings to earn the win against William & Mary on May 15, allowing four hits and striking out one
- Won his first start of the season, pitching 6.0 innings and allowing four earned runs on seven hits with nine strikeouts on May 8 against Texas
- Earned his first career save on April 2 against No. 16 Oklahoma State, pitching 1.2 scoreless innings while allowing two hits and striking out one
- In relief, pitched 2.2 innings to earn the win while allowing two runs on five hits at Kansas on March 26
- Earned both of WVU’s wins at Hawaii, with 1.2 innings of one-run, two-hit ball on March 3 and allowing no runs on two hits with four strikeouts on March 6

- Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team
- Pitched in 18 games with seven starts and finished with an 0-4 record
- Recorded a 3.88 ERA in 55.2 innings, while striking out 47 and giving up 24 earned runs on 53 hits
- Held opponents to a .254 batting average, the third-lowest on the team among pitchers with at least 10 innings pitched
- In 11 relief appearances, held the opponent to one earned run or less all but once
- In 6.1 innings, held Oklahoma State to a career-low three hits on May 8 with a career-high-tying seven strikeouts
- Held TCU to just one hit in 3.0 innings while striking out three on May 2
- Came on in relief against Penn State and pitched 3.2 hitless innings with three strikeouts on April 14
- Had four strikeouts and allowed just three hits in 4.0 innings of relief work on March 6 against ETSU
