• Pitched in 17 games with 16 starts and one complete game, posting a record of 5-5
• Had a team-high-tying 73 strikeouts in a team-best 97.2 innings and tied for third on the team with five wins, posting a 4.52 ERA while allowing 49 earned runs and 105 hits
• Turned in a team-best six quality starts
• Added four starts at designated hitter, though he did not have a plate appearance
• In his only relief appearance of the season, pitched 5.2 shutout innings and earned the win in WVU’s NCAA Tournament debut on June 2 vs. Maryland
• Named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week on April 17 after striking out six and holding No. 3 TCU to two earned runs on six hits in 8.1 innings on April 14
• In a complete-game win, struck out a career-high-tying 10 batters while allowing one run on five hits with one walk on April 7 vs. Kansas
• Had a career-high-tying 10 strikeouts in 6.0 innings while allowing three runs on five hits on March 31 at No. 23 Oklahoma State
• Earned the win at No. 10 Baylor on March 17, allowing one run on five hits with six strikeouts in 8.0 innings
• Gave up one run on four hits with seven strikeouts in a win against George Mason on Feb. 24

2016 (Sophomore)

• Made 17 appearances on the mound with 10 starts, earning a record of 5-3
• Was second among starters with a 4.05 ERA, finished second on the team with 66.2 innings pitched and tied for third with five wins while allowing 30 earned runs on 55 hits with 53 strikeouts and 22 walks
• Led the team with five quality starts
• In his last six appearances, all out of the bullpen, allowed just two runs on four hits with 10 strikeouts in 10.0 innings, including a scoreless, one-hit 1.1 innings against TCU in the Big 12 championship game
• Earned the win against Kansas State on April 17, pitching 8.0 innings and allowing four runs on eight hits with five strikeouts and a walk
• Picked up the win on April 10 against Furman, allowing just two earned runs on six hits in 6.2 innings with five strikeouts
• Struck out a season-best seven batters in 7.0 innings against Oklahoma State on April 3, allowing three earned runs on five hits
• Earned his second win of the season at UNLV on Feb. 28, giving up one unearned run on three hits with four strikeouts
• Named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 22 after a shutout performance on opening weekend against Charleston Southern, allowing no runs on five hits with five strikeouts in 8.0 innings

2015 (Freshman)

• Named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America First Team as selected by Collegiate Baseball
• Named to the All-Big 12 Rookie Team
• Made 14 appearances with nine starts
• Posted a 2-5 record and a 3.82 ERA in 63.2 innings
• Recorded 60 strikeouts, while holding opponents to a .263 batting average, allowing 61 hits and 27 earned runs
• Earned the win in relief at Oklahoma State on May 8 with 1.2 innings of work, striking out two and allowing just one hit
• Struck out seven for the third consecutive game against Kansas in 6.1 innings on April 24
• Notched a career-best 10 strikeouts, matching a career-high 7.2 innings against Oklahoma on April 17
• Had seven strikeouts against Butler in 7.2 innings while giving up no earned runs on four hits
• Earned his first career win with 3.0 innings in relief at UT Arlington on March 25

• Two-year starter for coach Danny Wallace at Flower Mound High
• Finished 2014 with a 10-2 record, 1.35 ERA and 104 strikeouts
• Went 6-2 in 12 starts with a 1.86 earned-run average in 2013, striking out 63 batters in 49.0 innings pitched with one shutout
