2020 (Sophomore)

• Finished 0-1 with a 1.42 ERA in 6.1 innings
• Tallied seven strikeouts, while allowing four total hits and just one earned run
• Did not allow a run in final five appearances of the year
• Struck out three in an inning of work against Canisius on Feb. 18
• Allowed one hit with a strikeout in an inning of relief at Richmond (March 1)
• Pitched a season-best 2.0 innings at Mercer on March 8, tallying two strikeouts and a walk
• Also tossed a scoreless frame on March 11, against Liberty

2019 (Freshman)

• Made 12 appearances, finishing 0-1 with a 6.55 ERA in 11.0 innings
• Made his collegiate debut on Feb. 27, against Towson, pitching a scoreless inning of relief with a strikeout
• Didn’t allow a run or hit in his first seven outings of the season from Feb. 27-April 28; registered seven strikeouts in that span
• Struck out a pair at Texas on April 28
• Pitched 1.1 innings at Kansas State on May 11, allowing one hit and a walk on 14 pitches
• Longest outing of the year came on May 26, against Oklahoma State in the Big 12 Championship; pitched 1.2 innings of relief, earning two punchouts

High School

• Attended Cabell Midland High and played for coach Tracy Brumfield
• Named a Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American and to the Atlantic All-Region Second Team in 2018
• Also named to the all-state first team and was the conference player of the year in 2018
• Earned first team all-conference accolades and was a two-time special honorable mention team honoree
• Ranked the No. 1 overall player in West Virginia by Perfect Game
• Member of the No. 26-ranked 2018 WVU recruiting class, the highest-rated class in program history at the time
