2018 (Sophomore)

• Played in a total of 31 games, with 23 appearances on the mound, tied for eighth-most in a single season in WVU history, and eight games played in the field, with one start at first base and one as the designated hitter
• On the mound, made eight starts, finished second on the team with 60 strikeouts and posted a 3-5 record with two saves and a 4.00 ERA, allowed 24 earned runs on 53 hits with 28 walks in 54.0 innings pitched while holding opponents to a .252 batting average
• At the plate, hit .077 with one hit in 13 at-bats with two runs scored and two walks
• Struck out five batters and did not allow a run in 4.1 innings in relief in the Big 12 Championship vs. TCU on May 26
• Did not allow a run in eight consecutive appearances, all in relief, from April 24-May 17
• Earned his second save of the year with 1.1 no-hit innings at TCU on May 11
• Got the win with 1.2 shutout innings with four strikeouts against Texas on April 28
• Did not allow a run on two hits in 3.0 innings and earned the win in WVU’s 11-10, 13-inning victory at Marshall on April 24
• Picked up his first save of the year on April 14 against Oklahoma State
• Scored a run and walked twice on April 3 vs. Niagara
• In a season-long 7.0 innings, struck out a career-high seven batters and earned his first win of the year on March 17 vs. Canisius
• Had his first career hit and run scored in the team’s opening day win at Jacksonville on Feb. 16 

2017 (Freshman)

• Named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team
• Made 19 appearances on the mound with 10 starts, recording a 1-1 record with two saves, while also making one start as designated hitter in six appearances at the plate
• Posted a 3.07 ERA, fourth among all pitchers with more than 3.0 innings pitched and second amongst pitchers with at least three starts, allowing 19 earned runs on 43 hits with 45 strikeouts and 33 walks in 55.2 innings pitched
• Started the season as a reliever, transitioned to closer before moving to starter, going from WVU’s fifth starter up to second in a span of five starts in less than four weeks
• Had two quality starts, tied for third-most on the team
• At the plate, walked once in seven at-bats
• Allowed a run on three hits in WVU’s NCAA Tournament-opening win over Maryland on June 2
• Picked up his first career win with 5.2 innings pitched on May 14 vs. Gardner-Webb, striking out a career-high seven while allowing one run on six hits with two walks
• Pitched a career-long 8.0 innings, allowing three runs on five hits with six strikeouts on April 29 vs. Oklahoma
• In his second career start, turned in a quality start with 6.0 innings at Maryland, allowing two earned runs on three hits with six strikeouts
• Made his first career start on April 5 vs. Morehead State, allowing no runs on one hit in 3.2 innings pitched
• Made his first career start as the designated hitter on March 25 vs. Jacksonville
• Reached base for the first time in his career, pinch hitting and earning a walk on March 18 at No. 10 Baylor
• Earned the save on March 10 at Old Dominion, pitching one scoreless, no-hit inning
• In his second career appearance, picked up his first save with a perfect inning against Ball State on Feb. 26

High School

• Played at South Dade Senior High for coach Fred Burnside
• Named a First Team ABCA Rawlings All-American and Under Armour All-American in 2015
• As a junior, hit .492 with five home runs and 32 RBIs and earned First Team All-Dade accolades, in addition to his All-America honors
• As a sophomore, helped lead his team to the Class 8A state title
• Ranked No. 11 overall in the state of Florida and No. 82 nationally by Perfect Game, and among right-handers, was No. 3 in Florida and No. 27 nationally

• Son of Erik Sr. and Susana Manoah
• Has one brother and one half sister
• Brother, Erik Jr., plays in the Los Angeles Angels organization
