• Placed eighth in 100 fly at Big 12 Championship, earning an NCAA B-cut time of 54.49
• Won consolation final of 100 back at conference meet, finishing in 54.62 (NCAA B-cut)
• Took second in 100 back vs. Villanova/Iowa State (57.03); also finished fifth in 100 fly (57.55)
• Registered a third-place finish in 100 back vs. Pitt in a time of 56.67
• Won the 100 back at TCU, claiming a time of 57.25; also finished third in the 100 fly against the Horned Frogs (58.08)
• A member of first-place 400 free relay team at TCU
• Swam in C final of 100 fly at the Ohio State Invitational, finishing 26th in 55.22
• D-finalist in 100 back at the Ohio State Invite, finishing 36th in 56.41

2016-17 (Freshman)

• Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team
• Placed eighth in 100 fly at Big 12 Championship (55.16)
• Part of winning 200 medley relay team at Big 12 vs. Big East Weekend, helping the group post a time of 1:46.85; also won 100 fly (56.15), 100 back (56.69) and was a member of first-place 400 and 800 freestyle relays at the event
• Finished fifth in 100 fly (56.38) and eighth in 100 back (57.33) at Virginia Tech quad
• Helped 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay to wins vs. TCU while also winning 100 back (55.82)
• Won 100 back at Iowa State, earning a time of 56.57; also helped 400 medley relay team to a victory
• Earned two relay victories at Bucknell (400 medley, 400 freestyle)
• Won 100 fly (57.12) at Villanova

High School

• Swam at Colegio Teresiano for coach Fernando Pereira
• Two-year team captain
• Three-time national champion in the 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and the 200 individual medley at the Brazilian National Championships
• Placed sixth at the Brazilian Olympic Trials in the 200 backstroke
