
Bousseau Wins Back-to-Back Singles Tournament Titles

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virgina University tennis team wrapped up the Thunder in the Mountains tournament with Julie Bousseau claiming the singles championship, marking her second consecutive singles title in back-to-back tournaments.
Bousseau took control early in the final, winning the first set and building a lead in the second before her opponent was forced to retire due to injury, giving Bousseau the match and the tournament victory.
The Mountaineers will return to action this weekend as West Virgina hosts the Martha Thorn Invitational on Oct. 3-5.
