MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the 2025 women's soccer nonconference schedule.
The Mountaineers' 2025 nonconference slate features seven contests, including four home matches at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown. WVU will kick against two opponents who competed in the 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament last fall, as well as in-state rival Marshall for the first time since 2011.
West Virginia's 2025 fall season officially begins on Thursday, Aug. 14, when the Mountaineers welcome Virginia to Morgantown. The season-opening homestand concludes against Akron on Thursday, Aug. 21.
WVU will then hit the road for the first time on Sunday, Aug. 24, traveling to University Park, Pennsylvania, for the second straight season to take on Penn State. The Mountaineers will return home on Thursday, Aug. 28, to face Duquesne, before traveling to Dayton, Ohio, to face the Flyers on Sunday, Aug. 31.
Army will visit Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 6, for the final home match of the nonconference slate. West Virginia will then wrap up nonconference action at Marshall on Thursday, Sept. 11, traveling to Huntington to face its in-state rival.
WVU's Big 12 Conference schedule was released on April 15, and the Mountaineers will open their conference slate at UCF on Sept. 18.
