MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University baseball team is set for two midweek games, first on the road at Ohio State on Tuesday, before coming home to face Pitt in the first edition of the Backyard Brawl this season on Wednesday.
First pitch from Bill Davis Stadium in Columbus is set for 6 p.m. and will air on
Big Ten Network Plus. First pitch on Wednesday from Kendrick Family Ballpark will be 6:30 p.m. and will air on
ESPN+ Both games can be heard on

WVUGame.com, by calling 1-800-WVU-GAME or visiting the Mountaineer Ticket Office at Kendrick Family Ballpark. Student tickets are free with a WVU ID. It is Stripe the Ballpark with suites, students, and even sections asked to wear GOLD and odd sections wear BLUE.
West Virginia is 22-4 on the season after taking two of three at BYU over the weekend. The Mountaineers dropped the first game before coming back to win Friday, 20-6, and Saturday, 19-16.
The Mountaineers are in three polls this week, clocking in at No. 11 by Perfect Game, No. 23 by the NCBWA, and No. 25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Ohio State is 8-16 this season and are coming off winning two of three against No. 10 Oregon. Tyler Pettorini leads the team with a .364 batting average and seven home runs.
Pitt is 16-11 this season and coming off 1-2 weekend at Boston College. Luke Cantwell has a .413 batting average to lead the team while Ryan Zuckerman has nine home runs.
