MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Divers from the West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving team completed the first day of competition at the 2025 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Monday in Piscataway, New Jersey.


 
Sophomore Owen Recker placed 44^th in the men's 1-meter prelims with 229.20 total points.
 
On the women's side, senior Sarah Krusinski finished 43^rd with 239.05 points and junior Abigail Sullivan placed 53^rd with 225.85 points in the prelims of the 3-meter competition.
 
Recker and Krusinski will compete for West Virginia on Tuesday. Recker will compete on the men's 3-meter and Krusinski will compete on the women's 1-meter.
