MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving team heads to Federal Way, Washington, to compete in the 2025 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships at the Weyerhaeuser Aquatic Center from Feb. 25-March 1.

Prelims will take place at 1 p.m. EST each day. Finals will take place at 8 p.m. on Feb. 25, and 9 p.m. during the rest of the meet. The entire meet will be live-streamed on ESPN+.
The men's swimming and diving team (1-4) and women's swimming and diving team (1-5) have not competed since they faced Penn State on Feb. 1.
Last time out, freshman Joey Stebbins posted the 10th fastest time in program history for the 400-yard individual medley. He placed second in the event against the Nittany Lions and was named the Big 12 Men's Co-Newcomer of the Week for his performance.
Newcomer Natasha Whittall has provided a much-needed spark to the women's team in just three meets. Against Penn State, Whittall touched the wall at 54.81 in the 100-yard backstroke. That marked the 10th fastest time in that event in school history.
Whittall has placed second in two individual events this season and has been part of two second-place finishes in relays.
In the diving well, sophomore Owen Recker continues to pace the Mountaineers. Recker has qualified for the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships in each event. Last time out, Recker placed second on the 1-meter and 3-meter against Penn State.
