MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's tennis team hosts Marshall on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m. at Summit Tennis Academy in Morgantown.

After a slow start, West Virginia (6-4) has rattled off four consecutive wins. Most recently, the Mountaineers swept Toledo and Temple in a doubleheader on Feb. 15.
Freshman Laura Villanueva Morillo has proved a strong addition to the starting lineup. Villanueva Morillo has won three of her last four matches as she has played in the No. 4 spot for WVU.
Senior Mille Haagensen had her most impressive outing of the season against Toledo and Temple, winning both singles matches as the No. 1 seed.
Haagensen has paired with freshman Lyla Byers in doubles play. The pair is 5-3 on the year in the No. 1 spot.
Senior Michaela Kucharova has not competed in singles since facing VCU on Feb. 1. In limited action, Kucharova is 3-2 overall in singles play, primarily playing as the No. 3 seed.
West Virginia defeated Marshall in Huntington last season, 4-3. The Mountaineers are 27-17 all-time in the series and have won the last six matches against the Thundering Herd.
The match will be live-streamed on Track Tennis.
