Sean Covich said. "We couldn't take advantage of our scoring opportunities today, but we will get together and figure out how we can improve. This season is a journey, still a lot of learning and growing hopefully for our guys. If last year taught us anything, one bad week doesn't define your season."
West Virginia will return to action on Monday, Feb. 24 at the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada. The Mountaineers last appeared in this event in 2022, winning the event by shooting 28-under-par.
