Golf Heads to The Hootie at Bulls Bay

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University golf team will return to action on Sunday at The Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate in Awendaw, South Carolina.
The tournament will be played on the 7,349-yard, par 72 Bulls Bay Golf Club. Golfers will play 18 holes each day on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
The No. 52-ranked Mountaineers will be joined by host No. 70 College of Charleston, Furman, No. 86 East Tennessee State, No. 83 Chattanooga, No. 43 South Carolina, No. 45 Purdue, No. 93 Missouri, No. 37 Clemson, Appalachian State, No. 74 Coastal Carolina, Kent State, No. 54 Florida Gulf Coast, Winthrop and No. 39 Kansas.
Seniors Westy McCabe and Kaleb Wilson, sophomores Aidan Dortch and Nick Turowski and freshman Jack Michael will represent the Mountaineers at the event.
"We look forward to returning to The Hootie at Bulls Bay," coach Sean Covich said. It's been since 2024 the last time we played here and our guys love experiencing this tournament. The golf course is one of a kind, so much fun to play in all different wind directions, plus the field is always very strong."
