Michael Posts Career-Best Finish at The Hootie

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University freshman Jack Michael posted a career best 11th-place finish at The Hootie at Bulls Bay in Awendaw, South Carolina, on Tuesday.
Michael, a native of Huntington, West Virginia, shot 67-70-74=211 for his 5-under-par finish. Senior Kaleb Wilson recorded another Top 20 finish, shooting 71-71-71=213 to finish tied for 20th place at 3-under-par.
Nick Turowski finished +6 (72-74-76=222), Aidan Dortch was +8 (73-73-78=224) and Westy McCabe finished +9 (71-73-81=225).
The Mountaineers finished in 10th place in the 15-team field with rounds of 281-287-299=867 (+3).
West Virginia will conclude its regular season on April 13-14, hosting the annual Mountaineer Invitational at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
