MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team will send split squads to compete at the Eagle Elite and David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 14-15 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Friday's Eagle Elite is set to be held at the Track at New Balance as competition kicks off at approximately 11 a.m. ET. The Mountaineers are scheduled to compete in the women's 800 meters, mile and 3,000 meters.
On Saturday, the David Hemery Valentine Invitational will take place at the Track and Tennis Center and begins at approximately 9 a.m. WVU is slated to race in the 800 meters, 1,000 meters, mile, 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters.
Last time out, West Virginia competed at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge on Feb. 8 in University Park, Pennsylvania. The meet was highlighted by redshirt sophomore
Annishka McDonald who claimed first place in the women's high jump. McDonald tied her career best mark of 1.74 meters in the event, tying for the fifth spot in the high jump in program history.
