McDonald Named Student-Athlete of the Week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Redshirt junior Annishka McDonald of the West Virginia University track and field team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
McDonald set a new outdoor school record in the high jump at the Raleigh Relays, winning the event with a clearance of 1.85 meters. The performance not only secured the event title but also solidified her place in program history.
With the mark, she now holds both WVU's indoor and outdoor high jump records.
