Mountaineers Head to Fort Worth to Face No. 16 TCU

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team (14–9, 2–9 Big 12) continues its Texas road swing against No.16 TCU (17-7, 7-5 Big 12) on Sunday, Nov. 9 in Fort Worth, Texas. The match will be held inside Schollmaier Arena with first service scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
This marks the 26th all-time meeting between the Mountaineers and the Horned Frogs, with TCU leading the series 16-9. WVU looks to pick up its first road win against TCU since 2021.
The Mountaineers look to bounce back after dropping their last match to No. 23 Baylor in straight sets on Nov. 7.
TCU comes into the game ranked No. 16 nationally, defeating Utah in four sets on Nov. 7. They hold a record of 17-7 and 7-5 in conference. Led by fourth year head coach Jason Williams (73-41 career record), the Horned Frogs feature a member of the 2025 Big 12 Volleyball Preseason Team, senior outside hitter Jalyn Gibson. She is one of six unanimous selections and was honored with 2024 All-Big 12 First Team.
