MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University tennis team finished play in the 2025 Martha Thorn Invitational on Sunday at the Mountaineer Tennis Courts.
Six Mountaineers represented WVU throughout the invite as graduate student

Audrey Moutama and
Daniella Shved, sophomore
Laura Villanueva Morillo and freshmen Zuzana Kudlackova and
Lucia Tognoni each performed well.
The doubles team of Villanueva Morillo and Tognoni earned three wins over the weekend. Moutama and Shved led the way in singles play, each earning two wins.
The Mountaineers played three rounds of singles and three rounds of doubles during the three-day invitational.

West Virginia will return to action at the Wahoowa Invitational from Oct. 10-12, at the Virginia Tennis Complex at Boar's Head Sports Club in Charlottesville, Virginia.
