Taylor White scored two goals and assisted a third to lead the offense in the win. White opened her night with an assist on sophomore forward
Maddie Levy's game-winning goal in the 21st minute, which marked Levy's fourth of the year and her second game winner this season.
Then it was White's turn to find the back of the net, as she added tallies in the 53rd and 61st minutes. Junior defender
Jacey Rase and senior forward
Ajanae Respass were credited with the assists on White's goals. West Virginia dominated the final box score, outshooting Arizona 16-4 along with 6-2 in shots on goal. Junior keeper
Bailey Herfurth and the WVU defense collected their seventh shutout of the season, holding Arizona to just a pair of shots on frame.
White leads the team with six goals, seven assists and 19 points on the year. She ranks No. 3 in the Big 12 and No. 13 nationally in assists per game (0.64), as well as No. 4 in the league in total points.
Graham Winkworth is in his ninth season as the head women's soccer coach at Arizona State.
