MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University cross country team placed three runners in the top ten at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Friday at Youthtowne in Clinton, Pennsylvania.
Redshirt sophomore
Mary Delaney led the Mountaineers with a fourth place finish, crossing the line in 17:22.30. Freshman
Aislinn Frazer followed close behind in sixth with a time of 17:35.40, while junior
Eva Rinker placed seventh at 17:35.90.
Rounding out the lineup redshirt freshman
Jennifer O'Palko finished 34th in 18:30.30 to cap the day for the Mountaineers.
West Virginia returns to action next week at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday, Oct. 17.
