Box Score NORMAN, Okla. –
The West Virginia University baseball team fell to Oklahoma, 13-0, Friday night at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The Mountaineers did not get a hit on the night as the Sooners completed their ninth no-hitter in program history. It is the first time WVU has been no-hit since 1982 against Marietta and the first time in a nine-inning game since going hitless against Georgetown in 1926.
The Mountaineers fall to 12-10 and 2-2 in the Big 12 while the Sooners go to 14-7 and remain undefeated in conference play at 7-0.

Aaron Jamison walked once, and sophomore
Skylar King reached on an error for WVU's only baserunners on the night.
Starting pitcher
Aidan Major struggled for the first time this season as he allowed five runs on two hits and six walks while striking out two in 2.0 innings.
Oklahoma scored a run in the first before breaking the game open with five runs in the third, three in the fourth, and four in the fifth inning.
Redshirt-sophomore
Tommy Beam threw 2.1 scoreless innings with three strikeouts while freshman
Chase Meyer tossed a scoreless frame with a pair of punchouts fo the Mountaineers.
Oklahoma pitchers Braden Davis and Reid Hensley combined to strike out 15 batters as part of the first no-hitter since 2020 for the program.
