
Mountaineers Wrap Up Second Day of NCAA Zone Diving Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Three divers from the West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed on the second day of the 204 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships at DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, New Jersey, on Tuesday.
Freshman Owen Recker kicked off the day in the preliminary round of the men's 1-meter. Recker finished with a final score of 218.20 as he missed the cut to make the finals.
Sophomore Abigail Sullivan and junior Sarah Krusinski competed in the women's 3-meter preliminary round. Sullivan and Krusinski both missed the cut as Sullivan placed 29th with a total score of 248.90. Krusinski scored a 239.65 as she placed 36th.
Competition will continue on Wednesday, March 13, with the platform event. It will be livestreamed on ESPN+.
