
West Virginia to Host Cleveland State, Radford on Saturday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University tennis team will continue its nonconference slate by playing host to Cleveland State and Radford on Saturday, Feb. 10, at Summit Tennis Academy in Morgantown.
West Virginia will face Cleveland State at 10 a.m. ET, and Radford at 3 p.m. Final results will be available at WVUsports.com.
West Virginia (5-1) recently defeated Indiana on Feb. 2, before losing to VCU on Feb. 3. Before the loss to VCU, the Mountaineers had their best start to a season (5-0) since they began the 2020 season 7-0.
WVU is 5-0 all-time against Cleveland State and 1-1 all-time against Radford.
Freshman Maya Bordereau and graduate student Love-Star Alexis lead the team in singles victories with five this season. Bordereau has paired with redshirt sophomore Maja Dodik in doubles play, going 5-0.
Junior Momoko Nagato is second on the team in singles play at 4-1 this season. The pairing of Nagato and junior Michaela Kucharova has played four matches as the No. 1 doubles pairing. They are 3-1 this year.
Junior Camilla Bossi played in her first matches at home for WVU against Indiana and VCU, finishing 1-1 overall in singles. Bossi is 2-2 in singles for the Mountaineers this year.
As a team, West Virginia is 26-10 in singles and 9-5 in doubles this season.
