
Mountaineers Release 2026 Spring Tennis Schedule

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the Mountaineers' spring tennis schedule as WVU prepares for the 2026 season.
West Virginia opens the spring slate with three consecutive home doubleheaders, beginning Friday, Jan. 17, against Youngstown State and Morgan State. The Mountaineers continue their homestand on Saturday, Jan. 25, welcoming Georgetown and Fairmont State, before hosting Cleveland State and Temple on Jan. 31.
The Mountaineers will play their first road match of the season at Indiana on Thursday, Feb. 6, with first serve scheduled for 4 p.m. WVU returns home on Feb. 14 to face Duquesne and Mount St. Mary's in a doubleheader before traveling to Huntington to take on in-state rival Marshall on Feb. 20.
Big 12 Conference play begins with a two-match road swing, as West Virginia travels to Oklahoma State on Feb. 27 and Kansas State on March 1. The Mountaineers then return to Morgantown to open their home conference schedule against TCU on March 6 and Baylor on March 8.
The Mountaineers continue with road matches at Utah on March 12 and BYU on March 14. WVU then returns home to host Arizona State on March 19 and Arizona on March 21.
West Virginia will host Cincinnati on March 28 before heading on the final road trip of the regular season with matches at Kansas on April 3 and Iowa State on April 5.
The Mountaineers will conclude the regular season at home with matches against Houston on April 10 and senior day against UCF on April 12.
The 2026 Big 12 Tennis Championship is slated to start on April 16, in Orlando, Fla.
