MORGANTOWN, W.Va. –
The No. 22 West Virginia University women's basketball team returns to Morgantown to play host to Texas Tech on Tuesday, Feb. 6, inside the WVU Coliseum. Tipoff against the Lady Raiders is tabbed for 7 p.m. ET.
Tuesday's game will be a celebration for National Girls and Women in Sports as well as Black History Month.
Tuesday's matchup with the Lady Raiders will be broadcast live on the Mountaineer Sports Network, including 100.9 WSZT-FM, with Andrew Caridi and John Antonik on the call. Fans also can listen to the game on the Mountaineer Sports Network.
Additionally, the game also will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, with Nick Farrell and Meg Bulger on the call. Live stats and game notes will be available on WVUsports.com.

Tuesday's matinee marks the 24th all-time meeting between WVU (19-2, 8-2 Big 12) and Texas Tech (16-7, 5-5 Big 12). West Virginia is 17-6 all-time against Texas Tech, including 9-2 in games played in Morgantown. WVU has won 15 of the last 17 meetings with TTU, dating back to March 6, 2015. That includes 12 consecutive unbeaten matchups with the Lady Raiders from Jan. 25, 2017 - Jan. 21, 2023.
Texas Tech comes into the contest off a 74-56 loss on the road to Cincinnati on Saturday. The Lady Raiders are 1-4 on the road this season. TTU came into conference play 11-2 but have settled for an even 5-5 mark against Big 12 competition.
Jasmine Shavers and Bailey Maupin lead the Lady Raiders with 14.8 and 14.1 points, respectively. Shavers adds 5.4 rebounds per game while Maupin leads the team with 3.7 assists. Kilah Freelon averages a team-high 5.5 rebounds per game.
The Mountaineers come into the contest on a six-game winning streak. The mark is tied for the longest in the Big 12 Conference with Oklahoma.
Last time out, West Virginia picked up its sixth straight win in conference play, defeating BYU, 76-69, on Saturday in Provo, Utah at the Marriott Center. The Mountaineers were led in scoring by fifth-year guard
Lauren Fields who finished with 22 points to lead the Mountaineers in point for the second time this season. Junior guard
JJ Quinerly tallied her 20th double-digit scoring game of the season with 19 points.
Quinerly (19.5), sophomore guard
Jordan Harrison (13.9) and Fields (10.7) continue to pace WVU's offensive effort this season. Quinerly is the fourth-leading scorer in the conference while her 409 total points rank second. She is one of 11 players in program history to record 1000 career points and 200 steals.
The Mountaineers have the top four steal leaders in the Big 12 with Quinerly (3.3), Harrison (2.7), Fields (2.3) and junior guard
Kyah Watson (2.2). Harrison has racked up 115 assists this season and is averaging 5.5 per contest which is the second-best in the conference. Watson paces WVU in rebounding, with 5.9 boards per game.
West Virginia averages 14.4 steals per contest and adds a 9.43 turnover margin which are the best marks in the nation. Additionally, WVU forces 24.7 turnovers per game, the second most in the country.
