MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Skylar Forbes is set to hit the international circuit while representing Team Canada, when the West Virginia senior forward travels to Chile to compete in the 2026 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas Conference from June 27-July 3.
Forbes is no stranger to representing her country, as she played for Team Canada at the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series in Vienna in 2025 and as a member of the U18 Canadian National team in 2022.
The transfer from Marquette has scored 1,075 career points, averaging 11.8 points per game, to go along with 446 rebounds and a 4.9 per game mark. She adds 156 assists, 88 steals and 138 blocks across three seasons. Last year, Forbes was named to the All-Big East Conference first team and a defensive team selection.
Canada opens play at the FIBA U23 3x3 Nations League 2026 on Saturday, June 27, against host Chile. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:20 p.m. ET. All games will stream live on the FIBA 3x3 YouTube Channel.
