
Mountaineers Take on No. 10 Kansas State on Wednesday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The No. 22 West Virginia University women's basketball team hits the road for battle with No. 10 Kansas State on Wednesday, Feb. 21, inside Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kansas. Tipoff against the Wildcats is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
The matchup marks the second straight against an AP-ranked team for the Mountaineers. West Virginia is looking to collect the program's first win over an AP top-10 team since defeating No. 10 Mississippi State on Dec. 8, 2019.
Wednesday's matchup with Kansas State will be broadcast live on the Mountaineer Sports Network, including 100.9 WZST-FM, with Andrew Caridi on the call. Fans also can listen to the game on the Mountaineer Sports Network.

Wednesday's game is the first and only meeting between the pair this season. Kansas State comes into the contest tied with the Mountaineers in the Big 12 standings for second place. The pair have both produced similar 11-3 marks in conference play.
The game marks the 26th all-time meeting between WVU (22-3) and KSU (22-4). West Virginia is 18-7 all-time against Kansas State, including 8-3 in games played in Manhattan. The Mountaineers are riding a three-game win streak in the series and are in search of their fifth straight inside Bramlage Coliseum.
Kansas State is led in scoring, rebounds and blocks this season by Ayoka Lee who averages 19.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game. Serena Sundell paces the squad in assists with 5.3 per game while Jaelyn Glenn averages 2.0 steals.
