
Mountaineers Conclude Regular Indoor Season at Penn State

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team is set to compete in the Penn State Tune-Up on Friday, Feb. 16.
Friday's meet is slated for a 2 p.m. ET, start at the Multi-Sport Facility & Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track in University Park, Pennsylvania.
The Penn State Tune-Up marks the fourth and final trip to Penn State for West Virginia, as it concludes the regular indoor season on Friday.
The meet will consist of the women's 60-meter hurdles, the 60-meter dash, the mile run, the 400-meter run, the 600 meters, the 800 meters, the 200-meter dash, the 3,000-meter run, the 4x400 relay race, the long jump, the triple jump and the high jump.
Last time out, the Mountaineers competed in the David Hemery Invitational in Boston, Massachusetts, on Friday, Feb. 9. Redshirt senior Mikenna Vanderheyden placed third on the all-time list in the women's 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:45.67. Classmate Sarah Tait boasted a personal best in the women's 3,000 meters with a time of 9:16.29.
Freshman Kishay Rowe, redshirt sophomore Emily Bryce and redshirt sophomore Tatiana Moura slated personal bests in the women's 800 meters, mile and 3,000-meter run, respectively.
