
Pickrem to Compete at 2024 Short Course World Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving assistant coach Sydney Pickrem is competing for Team Canada at the 2024 Short Course World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, from December 10-15.
Prelims will take place at 3 a.m. EST each day and finals will begin at 11:30 a.m. The championships will air on NBC/Peacock.
Pickrem will compete in the 100-meter breaststroke, 200 breast and 100-meter individual medley. She will also be part of the relay team competing in the 100-meter freestyle relay.
Pickrem represented Team Canada at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. She placed ninth in the 200 breaststroke and sixth in the 200 IM.
