MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The No. 15-ranked West Virginia University women's basketball team is set to do battle with its second power four conference opponent this week, taking on Texas A&M on Friday night inside the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown.
Tipoff against the Aggies is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, and gates open at 6 p.m. Friday's contest against Texas A&M will be broadcast live on the Mountaineer Sports Network, including 98.3 WBKE-FM, with Andrew Caridi on the call. Fans also can listen to the game on the Varsity Network App.
Additionally, Friday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+, with Eric Little and Meg Bulger on the call. Live stats and game notes are available on WVUsports.com.
Tickets for the contest can be purchased at WVUGAME.com or by visiting the Mountaineer Ticket Office, located inside the Gold Gate of the WVU Coliseum. The contest will serve as a coal rush. All fans in attendance will receive a Black rally towel. Weeknight happy hour will be in effect from doors open to tipoff where select beverages and concessions will be half-off! Additionally, all fans are encouraged to wear black.

Due to RV parking located at the Coliseum for the Baylor football game, parking will be limited in the portion of the lot located near the WVU Core Arboretum.
The matchup will be the third all-time meeting between WVU (3-0) and Texas A&M (2-1). It is the first ever meeting inside the WVU Coliseum and the first overall since 2017. The series is split with both teams collecting one win.
West Virginia has now won 31 straight nonconference home contests dating back to the 2017-18 season.
Mark Kellogg is also a perfect 13-0 in nonconference games as head coach of the Mountaineers.
Texas A&M enters the contest winners of two straight after dropping their season opener to A&M Corpus Christi, 62-56. Sahara Jones leads the Aggies with 12.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. Lauren Ware has averaged 3.0 assists to facilitate the offense.
Jordan Harrison paces the Mountaineers with 19.3 points per game as her 19 assists this season rank eighth in the NCAA. Junior guard
Sydney Shaw has averaged 16.7 points across the opening three games of her Mountaineer career.
Kyah Watson has controlled the glass with 10.0 rebounds per game while her 30 boards this season is the 27
th most by a player.
The Mountaineers have produced three straight 30-plus turnovers forced performances to open the season as the mark ranks second in the nation and first among Power Four programs. WVU ranks ninth in the nation with 18.7 steals per game and holds a +20 turnover margin.
