MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team (8-12, 2-7 Big 12) heads to Manhattan, Kansas to take on Kansas State on Oct. 31. Thursday's first serve is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET, inside of the Morgan Family Arena.

Thursday's match marks the 24
th meeting between the 'Cats and Mountaineers, Kansas State leads the all-time series, 16-8. KSU picked up the last win of the series, 3-2 over West Virginia on Oct. 13 in Morgantown.
Last time out, West Virginia fell in five sets, 3-2 to Texas Tech on Oct. 26 in Morgantown. The Mountaineers were led offensively by senior outside hitter

Laila Ibrahim notched personal bests, with 24 digs and 11 total blocks, respectively.
West Virginia ranks No. 2 in the Big 12 with 139 service aces in 82 sets, averaging 1.70 aces per set. Tanton is tabbed at No. 7 in the league with her 33 aces this season, collecting 0.40 aces per set.
Jason Mansfield is in his second season with the 'Cats, with a record of 23-22. Kansas State enters the match with an overall record of 7-11, and a 5-4 conference mark. KSU returns home to face the Mountaineers after defeating Iowa State, 3-2 on Oct. 27 in Ames, Iowa.
