– The West Virginia University women's basketball team is back at home on Saturday, Jan. 27, against Iowa State. Tipoff inside the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown is set for 2 p.m. ET.
The contest against ISU will be broadcast live on the Mountaineer Sports Network, including 98.3 WBKE-FM, with Andrew Caridi on the call. Additionally, Saturday's game will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ with Nick Farrell and Warren Baker on the call. Live stats and game notes will be available on WVUsports.com.
West Virginia and Iowa State meet for the second time this season to wrap up the season series. The Cyclones claimed the first meeting at the Hilton Coliseum in Ames by a final score of 74-64, back on Jan. 10.
Saturday's contest marks the 26th all-time meeting between WVU (16-2, 5-2 Big 12) and ISU (12-6, 6-2 Big 12). West Virginia leads the all-time series 13-12 and is 8-3 when playing in Morgantown. Iowa State is the winner of six of the last seven meetings.
Iowa State has lost its last two games, falling to Texas Tech and Kansas. The Cyclones add a forfeit win over TCU in between their two losses.
The Cyclones roster features two players who are averaging double-digit scoring this season in Audi Crooks (17.0) and Addy Brown (13.6). Brown nearly averages a double-double with 9.1 rebounds per game. The mark is the third best in the conference. Brown also leads the team with 5.3 assists.
Last time out, West Virginia rolled past Cincinnati 72-43 on Saturday to collect its third straight win in conference play.
West Virginia became the first program in NCAA DI history to produce back-to-back shutouts in a quarter, holding both Houston and Cincinnati scoreless in the open frame. WVU held the pair a combined 0-of-21 from the floor in the opening quarter as WVU held a 32-0 scoring margin in the opening frame of its last two contests.

JJ Quinerly, who tallied her 17th double-digit scoring game of the season with 23 points. Sophomore guard
Jordan Harrison added 15 points and nine assists. It marked the 10
th time this season she had had 5-plus assists in a contest.

Lauren Fields (10.3) pace WVU's offensive effort this season. The Mountaineers have four inside the top 5 in the Big 12 in steals per game with Quinerly (3.3), Harrison (2.7), Fields (2.3) leading the conference and Watson (2.2) in fifth.
Harrison has racked up 102 assists this season and is averaging 5.7 per contest which is the second-best in the conference. Watson paces WVU in rebounding, with 5.7 boards per game.
West Virginia averages 14.8 steals per contest which is the best mark in the nation. Additionally, WVU forces 24.9 turnovers per game, the fourth most in the country. The Mountaineers add the best turnover margin in the country at 9.4 while holding a 23.4 scoring margin this season which is the 8th-best mark in the nation.
