
Woodley Featured on Big 12 Starting Five

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Jan. 26, 2026) – West Virginia University senior guard Sydney Woodley has been named to the Big 12 Women's Basketball Starting five for the week, as the Mountaineers collected two wins during the week. WVU first defeated Arizona State 53-43 at home before closing out the week on the road with a 91-77 win over BYU.
Woodley finished with seven points, three rebounds, and two steals to help the Mountaineers defeat the then 16-2 Sun Devils. She closed out her week with a career-high 23 points in the win over the Cougars to push WVU to a 5-0 mark on the road in conference play. She finished the night 6 of 7 from the floor and 11 of 12 from the line. Defensively, she added a game-high four steals.
