
Mountaineers Travel to No. 23 Baylor for Saturday Matchup

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team (9-19, 2-13 Big 12) heads to Waco, Texas to face off against No. 23 Baylor on Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Ferrell Center. Saturday's match is set for a 3 p.m. ET, first serve.

Saturday's match marks the 26th meeting between the Mountaineers and the Bears. Baylor leads the all-time program series, 22-3. West Virginia fell, 3-0 to Baylor in their last meeting on Oct. 30, 2022, in Waco.
Last time out, West Virginia dropped two matches to Texas Tech on Thursday, Nov. 9 and Friday, Nov. 10. The Red Raiders swept West Virginia, 3-0 on Nov. 9, followed by a 3-2 victory by Tech on Nov. 10.
Junior outside hitter Hailey Green leads the squad with 377 kills, followed by sophomore outside hitter Bailey Miller with 309. Redshirt senior setter Lauren DeLo leads the Mountaineers with 977 assists and 25 service aces. Sophomore middle blocker Tierney Jackson has collected 73 blocks for West Virginia, paired with fifth year libero Camilla Covas leading the squad with 377 digs.
