MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team competed at the Youngstown Invitational hosted by Youngstown State University at the Watson and Tressel Training Site on Friday, Jan. 20.
Redshirt senior
Hayley Jackson claimed first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:10.21. She was followed by sophomore
Megan Weaver, who secured fifth with a time of 2:19.71.
Sophomore
Abigale Mullings earned second place in high jumps with a height of 1.65 meters. Mullings also jumped a height of 1.65 meters during her last time out at the Nittany Lion Challenge on Jan. 14.
Senior
Tessa Constantine earned first in her 200-meter heat with a time of 25.97, while her classmate
Sada Wright competed in weight throw for West Virginia and notched a throw of 16.48 meters. Wright's effort was good enough for sixth place in the competition.
The Mountaineers continue the campaign, as they return to Penn State University for the Penn State National in University Park, Pennsylvania, on Friday, Jan. 27 and Saturday, Jan. 28. Live Stats will be available at
