In the series against the Toledo, the Mountaineers lead the Rockets, 9-1, with West Virginia's most recent win coming off a 7-0 sweep in 2020. The Rockets come to Morgantown with a 7-2 record, coming off a 3-4 loss against Cincinnati, to break a seven-game win-streak.
WVU is coming off a split weekend on the road. The Mountaineers topped in-state foe Marshall, 5-2, on Saturday, Feb. 18, in Huntington, West Virginia. The squad then made their way to Lexington, Kentucky for a matchup against the Wildcats on Sunday, Feb. 20. After going 0-3 in doubles play, West Virginia rallied to win three matches against Kentucky. Ultimately, UK outlasted WVU 4-3.
