– The West Virginia University volleyball team fell to Iowa State at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown on Wednesday, Oct. 26.
Fifth-year senior outside hitter
Adrian Ell led the Mountaineers in kills with 13. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native also added seven assists and nine digs.
Redshirt freshman setter
Kamiah Gibson racked up 21 assists to lead WVU. Gibson also tallied four blocks and two service aces.
Junior libero
Skye Stokes notched 16 digs for West Virginia and contributed two assists and a service ace.
The Mountaineers (7-15, 0-9 Big 12) fell to the Cyclones (15-7, 7-2 Big 12) in three sets.
Additionally, West Virginia notched 33 kills and 42 digs in the match.
The squad returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 30, when it heads to Waco, Texas, to square off against Big 12 Conference foe Baylor at the Ferrell Center. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast on ESPN2, and live stats for the match can be found on
