WVU Professional Basketball Update - April

Our April update on former West Virginia University Mountaineers playing professionally in the States and overseas, courtesy of Sports I.T. Solutions and Eurobasket.com:
 
Jevon Carter (Memphis Grizzlies, NBA) – Scored 6 points in 14 minutes in a recent loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Carter is averaging 3.1 points, 1.7 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 34 games this season.
 
Joe Alexander (Besiktas, Turkey) – Scored a team-best 17 points and grabbed five rebounds in a recent loss to Anadolu Efes. Alexander is averaging 8.3 points and 4.0 rebounds in 11 games so far this year.
Da'Sean Butler (Hapeol Jerusalem, Israel) – Scored 16 points in a recent 103-93 victory over Ironi Nahariya. He is averaging 7.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
 
Jonathan Holton (Obras Basket, Argentina) – Had an 18-point, 11-rebound, double-double in a recent 101-74 victory over Libertad Sunchales. Holton shows averages of 7.0 points and 5.9 rebounds in 21 games so far this season.
 
John Flowers (La Union, Argentina) – Earned game MVP honors for his 18 points and eight rebounds in a recent 73-70 victory over Argentinian La Liga. He is averaging 15.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
 
Kevin Jones (Ryukyu GK, Japan) – Has a 12-point, 15-rebound, double-double in a recent two-point victory over second-ranked Kyoto. Jones is averaging 13.5 popints and 9.2 rebounds per game for the 34-18 Golden Kings.
 
Juwan Staten (Helsinki Seagulls, Finland) – Was the game MVP for his 26 points and six assists in a recent 87-84 victory over league leading Vilpas. Staten is averaging 18.2 points and 3.7 assists per game.
 
Teyvon Myers (KFUM Jamtland Basket, Sweden) – Scored 14 points and pulled down four boards in a recent 89-80 victory over BC Lulea. Myers is averaging 17.3 points and 3.7 assists in 39 games so far this season.
 
Devin Ebanks (Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket, France) – Scored 10 points and grabbed four rebounds in a recent 93-86 loss to third-ranked Monaco. Ebanks is averaging 20.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.
 
Devin Williams (Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket, Turkey) – Williams is averaging 4.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per game and tallied 3 in a recent loss to FC Barcelona.
