January 11, 2019 04:52 PM | Baseball
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University baseball season ticket priority deadline is Monday, Jan. 14, for Mountaineer Athletic Club members and past season ticket holders to reserve priority seating for the 2019 season.
Fans can keep their previous seat locations by renewing by Monday's deadline. Season tickets will still be available after the Jan. 14 deadline, and seat location will be allocated by the Mountaineer Ticket Office to the best available seats, based on MAC annual giving levels and priority points within each level. Seat locations will be assigned to non-MAC members following the completion of the priority allocation process.
To renew or purchase new season tickets, call 1-800-WVU GAME, visit WVUGAME.com or visit the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the WVU Coliseum.
For the 22-game home schedule, season tickets are $130 each for reserved seating in the five sections behind home plate and $105 for reserved seating behind the first and third base dugouts. WVU faculty and staff members can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $105 behind home plate and $85 behind the dugouts. Discounted tickets for faculty and staff can only be purchased in person or via phone.
All seating at Monongalia County Ballpark is reserved.
West Virginia's home season features weekend matchups against Big 12 opponents Oklahoma (March 29-31), Texas Tech (April 12-14), Kansas (April 19-21) and TCU (May 3-5), in addition to midweek contests against regional rivals Pitt (April 3), Penn State (April 23) and Marshall (April 30). Additional home games include a home-opening series against Kent State (March 8-10), a midweek outing vs. Youngstown State (March 19) and a series against George Washington (May 16-18) to close out the regular season. Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Kent State are all coming off NCAA Tournament appearances in 2018, with TTU reaching the College World Series.
