WVU has not won a match on the road in Big 12 play this year, as the Mountaineers search for their first-ever victory in Norman on Saturday. The Mountaineers (9-11, 1-6) and the Sooners (11-8, 3-4) meet for the 14th time overall and the 13th time in league play since WVU joined the Big 12 in 2012. The two squads met once as nonconference opponents back in 1999, with OU claiming the 3-0 win at a neutral site. The Sooners own a 12-1 lead in the all-time series. However, the two teams split the home-and-away series last season, with WVU picking up its first-ever win over OU in four sets on Oct. 13, 2017, inside the WVU Coliseum.
