MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Bidding is now open for silent auction items in conjunction with the West Virginia University baseball team’s annual Leadoff Dinner, presented by Lumos Networks and featuring guest speaker Inky Johnson and former Mountaineer stars Jedd Gyorko and Pat White, this Saturday, January 28.
To view the auction items and start bidding from your mobile device, text BASEBALL to 71760. Fans can participate in the auction online, even if they are not attending the Leadoff Dinner. Bidding through the mobile auction will conclude during the banquet on Saturday evening.

Additionally, tickets and table sponsorships for the Leadoff Dinner are still available.
Register online at WVUMAC.com/Leadoff or call the Mountaineer Athletic Club at 800-433-2072. Held at the Morgantown Event Center at 2 Waterfront Place, the reception begins at 4 p.m. and the dinner and program commences at 6 p.m.
The silent auction features more than 75 items, including a trip to New Orleans with the team, dinner with coach Randy Mazey and the WVU coaching staff, the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a WVU game this season and autographed memorabilia. Unique WVU items and exclusive vacation opportunities also highlight the silent auction.
Bidding also can be done at Saturday’s Leadoff Dinner. Representatives from the Mountaineer Athletic Club will be available to assist with the mobile bidding at the banquet, and are available to answer any questions in advance at 800-433-2072.
