Baseball to Hold Open Tryouts

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University baseball team will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2016 season on Friday, Sept. 16, for WVU students interested in joining the team.
The tryout will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET and last approximately one hour. The workout will take place at Monongalia County Ballpark. Students must attend the workout in athletic gear in order to participate.
Interested students must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credits each semester) at WVU and have remaining NCAA eligibility. Participants must bring the following documentation to volunteer assistant Cody Atkinson before the tryout:
1. Proof of Insurance
2. Completed physical (physical must be within the last six months)
3. Proof of Registration as a WVU Student (e.g., printout of class schedule or letter from the registrar)
4. Completed Compliance Form (Attached)
