Sunday’s Game Moved, Doubleheader Set for Saturday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Due to inclement weather expected in the Morgantown area on Sunday, the West Virginia Baseball team will now play a doubleheader against Old Dominion today, Saturday, March 12, at Monongalia County Ballpark.
First pitch of game one is still set for the originally-scheduled time of 3 p.m., with game 2 beginning 30-45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. No game will be played on Sunday.
Saturday will be a single-admission doubleheader, and tickets for today’s game will be good for both contests. Fans with tickets to Sunday’s game can redeem them at the Monongalia County Ballpark ticket office for tickets to a future WVU baseball game.
Tickets are still available for the doubleheader. For fans unable to cheer on the Mountaineers in person, a live video stream and live stats for both games can be found at WVUsports.com. West Virginia opened the series with a 4-3, comeback win over the Monarchs on Friday afternoon in the home opener at Monongalia County Ballpark.
Following today’s doubleheader, the Mountaineers conclude their home-opening homestand with a matchup vs. Radford on Tuesday, March 15. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. ET at Monongalia County Ballpark.
