Annual Hoops 'n Heels Event Held Sunday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women's basketball team held its annual Hoops 'n Heels preseason kickoff event on Sunday.
Members of the Hoops 'n Heels club got an exclusive look at the 2016-17 Mountaineers during practice. Additionally, members were given a tour of the Basketball Practice Facility and learned more about the program including athletic communications, athletic training, strength and conditioning and operations. Fans also participated in a Q & A session with coach Mike Carey and the Mountaineers before concluding the day with a reception.
Registration for the 2016-17 Hoops 'n Heels is still open. Members receive invitaitons to member-only events throughout the season, receive apparael and more. An MVP membership is just $85 for the season, while a Mountaineer membership includes a season ticket for $165. For more information or to sign up, click here.
