Carson Clark joined the Mountaineer strength and conditioning staff in December 2022 and oversees the strength and conditioning efforts for the women’s soccer and track and field programs.
Clark started working for the strength and conditioning program in January 2022 as an intern for Mountaineer football. Following that position, he became a professional intern with Olympic sports in August 2022 while overseeing the women’s track and field and rowing programs. His work experience also includes a strength and conditioning internship at Towson University, where his sports responsibilities were football and all other Olympic sports.
He holds certifications from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS).
Clark earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Towson in 2021, before completing his master’s degree in sport coaching from WVU in 2023.
The Leesburg, Virginia, native resides in Morgantown.
