Caleigh Shaffer was promoted to director of operations for women’s gymnastics in August 2018 after spending the 2017 season as a graduate assistant. 
 
Shaffer, a native of Radford, Virginia, oversees administrative duties for the program and manages all home meets. She also serves as the office manager and coordinates the team’s daily schedule and team travel. 
 
Shaffer graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in communications specializing in public relations. She earned her master’s in sport management from West Virginia in December of 2018.
