West Virginia is set to open the campaign on the road for the fifth time in the last six seasons, traveling to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for a tri meet on Friday, Jan. 8. The season-opening competition will feature the host Razorbacks and Southeast Missouri State (SEMO).

The Mountaineers are then set to open their campaign at home with a dual meet against Kent State on Sunday, Jan. 17, at Hope Coliseum.

Up next, the Mountaineers prepare for a two-meet swing through the state of Utah, beginning in Provo with a conference dual meet against BYU on Friday, Feb. 5. WVU will remain in the Beehive State to face Southern Utah on Monday, Feb. 8, in Cedar City.

West Virginia returns to Morgantown on Friday, Feb. 12, for its final home Big 12 meet when reigning conference champions Utah come to town. The Mountaineers head back out on the road to wrap up regular-season league competition at Denver on Sunday, Feb. 21, in Denver, Colorado.

From there, WVU will make a familiar trip to Towson, Maryland, for a tri meet against the host Tigers and Temple. The Owls, along with Eastern Michigan, are then set to visit Hope Coliseum on Sunday, Feb. 28, for the only home tri meet of the year.

The Mountaineers conclude the 2027 regular season with their only quad meet of the year, competing at Clemson for the first time on Friday, March 12. West Virginia will be joined in Clemson, South Carolina, by Penn State and Michigan State.

Postseason competition then begins with the 2027 Big 12 Gymnastics Championship, slated for Saturday, March 20 at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.

The 2027 NCAA Regional Championships are scheduled to take place from March 30-April 3, with Arkansas, Denver, Georgia and NC State set to be regional hosts.

The 2027 NCAA National Championships are tabbed for April 13-17, in Fort Worth, Texas.

West Virginia will return to competition in 2027 after sending a trio of individual event specialists to the 2026 NCAA Regional Championships. All three individuals – Amber Lowe, Sophia Rice and Emerson Smith – return to WVU's roster this season. A standout freshman in 2026, Kayla Smith also returns to the team in 2027 after competing on the all-around in all 13 meets a year ago. She was named to the All-Big 12 All-Around and All-Freshman Teams at season's end, becoming just the third freshman in WVU history to exceed 500 points in a single season.
