2020-21 (Junior)

• Academic All-Big 12 First Team
• Placed fourth in the 200 back (1:48.48) and 400 IM (4:01.19), sixth in the 200 medley relay (1:31.89) and 200 IM (1:51.89) against Notre Dame
• Touched the wall in 51.03 in the 100 back to finish eighth at ND
• Harlan started off the season with a pair of 2nd place finishes in the 200 back (1:48.95) and the 400 IM (4:00.45); also finished fourth in the 100 back (49.65) at Pitt

2019-20 (Sophomore)

• All-Big 12 First Team
• Academic All-Big 12 First Team
• Represented WVU at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship and USA Swimming’s 2019 Toyota U.S. Open
• Competed in a trio of A finals at the Big 12 Championship, including the 200 IM (7th – 1:49.03), the 400 IM (4th – 3:52.71) and the 200 back (1:46.57)
• In the regular-season finale against George Washington, he placed fifth in the 100 back (52.00) and fourth in the 200 breast (2:08.78)
• Against Villanova, he finished fifth as a member of the 400 medley relay team with a time of 3:29.95
• Tallied a second-place finish in the 200 IM at TCU after touching the wall in 1:54.85
• Placed fourth in the 100 back (51.35) and second in the 200 back (1:50.28) at SMU
• Finished seventh in the 100 back (52.20), fourth in the 200 back (1:51.80) and fourth in the 200 IM (1:53.08) against Pitt
• Competed in the 200-meter IM and the 200-meter backstroke at the Toyota U.S. Open
• Reached the finals in three events at the WVU Invitational, including the 200 IM C final (17th – 1:51.45), 400 IM B final (14th – 4:02.38) and the 200 back B final (9th – 1:50.04)
• Placed third in the 200 backstroke (1:54.78) and 200 individual medley (1:55.44) at the West Virginia State Games; also competed in the 100 back and 200 fly 
• Earned a season-opening victory in the 200 IM (1:54.17) at Penn State, while also placing sixth in the 200 back (1:53.42) 

2018-19 (Freshman)

• All-Big 12 Second Team
• Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team
• Took sixth in the 200 IM (1:48.60), fifth in the 400 IM (3:54.53) and 14th overall in the 200 back at the Big 12 Championship
• Placed fourth in the 200 back (1:52.12) and third in the 200 IM (1:55.35) at Penn State
• Finished in second place in the 200 IM (1:54.68) against TCU
• Tallied a fourth-place finish in the 200 back (1:50.92) at Pitt
• Finished 24th overall in the 400 IM C final (4:02.04) at the Ohio State Invitational
• Earned a second-place finish in the 200 back C final (22nd overall) with time of 1:49.40 at OSU; also competed in the 200 breast and finished 34th overall (2:05.55) at the Ohio State Invitational
• Finished in second place (1:52.55) in the 200 back and third in the 400 IM (4:08.85) at the West Virginia State Games

• Swam at Cibola High for coach Gordy Westerborg
• Three-time All-American in 200 IM and 100 breast
• Four-time New Mexico state champion
• Albuquerque Male Swimmer of the Year in 2017 and 2018
