Mountaineers Earn Four All-Big 12 Honors at Outdoor Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team earned four All-Big 12 honors at the 2026 Big 12 Conference Outdoor Championships in Tucson, Arizona.

Joy Naukot led the Mountaineers with a runner-up finish in the 10,000 meters, crossing the line in 34:05.40 to earn All-Big 12 recognition. Emily Bryce added a seventh-place finish in 34:41.75, while Anastasia Chepkorir placed eighth in 34:47.26, as both also collected All-Big 12 honors.

Mercy Kinyanjui continued WVU's strong weekend in the distance events, earning runner-up honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:54.27 to secure All-Big 12 status.

Additional performances included Kishay Rowe placing 13th in the 800 meters (2:05.98), Chiara Judis finishing 11th in the 10,000 meters (35:35.59) and Annishka McDonald clearing 1.78 meters in the high jump.
